Smoke Meets Love

I have all ways had a passion for cooking good food. I still remember my mother making me a bologna sandwich as a child and never being able to recreate the same taste she could in such a simple sandwich. It wasn't until I thought as a child while being an adult that it came to me that the special ingredient was the love of another thinking of only you. I hope you find the love I leave in all my food.

As you can see by the picture above I am not afraid of a challenge when it comes to food. I took 1st place in an adult cook challenge that was Hunger Games Themed. I had not planned on participating in this cook so I had no ingredients or proper cooking vessels. I ran to the closest gas station and was able to find some whole chickens, cornbread stuffing, butter and the ass end of some 5 year old spices from the Scout camp box. In less than 3 hours I went from sitting in a camp chair to sourcing ingredients at the local Brookshire Brothers gas station to figuring out how to smoke food with no grates, utensils or really anything. In the end, smoked stuffed whole chickens served on wooden dowel's got the win.

We can even make many items Keto friendly and allow others with different eating concerns a version that meets their health needs.
